General overview
Welcome to Casa Buena Vista: Our slice of paradise sits on 2 acres and is located near a small town on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.
It is an open floor plan, 3 bedroom/2 bath with beautiful views of ocean. The front facing windows draw you immediately and the invitation to sit on the porch rockers should not be ignored. There is also a back patio, gazebo, and splash pool.
We love the area for it's friendly mix of locals and expats, the calm and tranquil surroundings, and the beautiful natural features nearby (beaches, mangroves, waterfalls, caves, cenotes).
The space
There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bath. It has a queen bed and space for an additional bed (at the moment we have a queen-size air mattress available as needed). The guest rooms each have a queen bed. The home is considered modern by local standards. There are high ceilings, two seating areas, a dining room table that seats 8, and a kitchen with an island, gas stove, a dishwasher, and microwave.

There are two stories with the main floor accessed by stairs. We have an enclosed, single-car garage.

We are located in the Catalina Hills just outside of the town of Cabrera. We are 10 minutes from a large, beautiful beach and 5-25 minutes from a number of other beaches.
Getting to my home
You will want to fly into one of the 5 island airports and then take a ground transfer to Cabrera (we have recommendations for services).

Getting around
A car is recommended for the area. We have an 8 passenger Lexus and a 150 engine scooter that may be available for swap or rent to our guests. We are walking distance to local colmadas (markets) and a couple of local restaurants.

Hello, we are a family of four that has been exchanging our home in Las Vegas for 8 years (over 100 exchanges). We worldschool our children; traveling frequently and recently purchased a second home base in the Dominican Republic.
