We can offer exchanges for our whole home (above) or just this suite, depending on your needs. The suite is usually unoccupied, so we can be very flexible with non-sim swaps.
Our home in the small village of Anmore British Columbia sits on a 1 acre lot, perched on a mountainside and backing on to forest. You'll love the peaceful views and natural surroundings.
This garden suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a media room (which could be used as a third bedroom), large living/dining area, full kitchen, and laundry.
The space
This suite encompasses the entire bottom floor of our home, and is bright and spacious. It includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a media room/home theatre, large living/dining area, a full kitchen, and laundry. It is surrounded by a large covered patio on two sides. Guests also have full access to our spacious backyard and gardens, plus our swim spa and hot tub. Children are welcome to use the trampoline and zipline and to explore the forest. The suite is separated from the upper floors of the house by a locked door.
Guest access
Everything is on one floor and is accessible through a private entrance. There's ample parking at the front of the house. Entry is generally flat from the parking area, but it is along a short garden path, so it's a bit uneven.

Neighbourhood
Our community is quiet and surrounded by nature. Assorted wildlife are frequent visitors: don't be surprised to see deer, bear, owls, eagles, countless other bird species, frogs, rabbits and more nearby. Access to several trails is just steps away. Two lakes are within a few minutes' drive or a short hike and are some of the Vancouver area's most popular destinations for locals and visitors alike. The oceanfront is also just a few minutes away, with your choice of several parks and beaches. If you enjoy walks, bike riding, canoeing, or other outdoor activities you will find plenty of variety here. A large shopping centre is about 15 minutes away and various other shops, restaurants, and services are a similar distance.
Getting to my home
By car, our area is about 15 minutes north of Port Moody -- either along the scenic oceanfront Ioco Road or up the mountainside via Heritage Mountain Boulevard. By transit, just catch the SkyTrain to Port Moody Centre Station and then take a community bus to Anmore. A bus stop is located at the bottom of the hill leading to our home - about a 10 to 15 minute walk up a fairly steep road.
Nearest airport
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is approximately 1 hour away. Abbottsford International Airport (YXX) is also about 1 hour away.
Getting around
Various restaurants, shops, microbreweries, and other attractions are within 15 minutes' drive. Downtown Vancouver is about 45 minutes away: drive or take the rapid transit SkyTrain with ease. We might exchange our vehicle during some home exchanges.

Bryan and Julie
We are a family of four with two children aged 11 and 14. We love to travel and love to host other families in our home. Both adults are self employed, so we can often be quite flexible in our plans. We have a large home that includes a full secondary suite, which can be available to people we exchange with even when we're still at home.
We regularly travel to the UK (especially in the summer) but are always open to other destinations.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
One corner of our back garden. This is from a few years ago, so the landscaping is quite a bit more mature now. The rocky area features a pond and campfire pit.
Rear of the house. The suite is the entire lower floor.
A friendly visitor to the garden.
A visitor perched on the children's playhouse.
Part of the covered patio, with a hint of our mountain and valley views!
Heated swim spa with spectacular views
Kitchen with gas range, oven, full size fridge, dishwasher, and large sink.
