Our family home is nestled in a quiet suburb just out of Byron Bay amongst the trees. We are a few short minutes away from rivers and beaches and have a beautiful view. The living space is open plan, and up high so you can see trees out of every window.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bath. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite and walk in closet, the second room has a queen bed and the third, a single. The house has floorboards throughout and a comfortable rug in the main living room with an extra large TV for chilled out movie nights. There is a large wrap around balcony, a hot tub in the courtyard and a 3 foot skate ramp under the house. The home has a brand new 10kW Samsung ducted AC system with heads throughout the house. With our 13kW solar system and TESLA Powerwall battery, the home is completely self sufficient and powered entirely by the sun. Available for your use are wireless Internet, some games and books, and laundry room with a front-load washer and dryer. There's plenty of parking if you bring a vehicle, and a secure garage if you bring sports equipment you'd like to keep secure. Our home is strictly non-smoking, inside and out. We also have e-mountain bikes, skateboards, kayaks and surfboards and a car available.

Upon arrival from the street you will see landscaped gardens with a short stair descent to the front door. Further down around the side of the house are more stairs taking you down to the hot tub surrounded by bamboo and guava trees.

Notas

We have 3 cats, they are friendly boys and love pats, very tolerant with children. If you don't want them around during your stay we can find alternative accommodation for them. If you are happy to feed them while you stay we are good with that too.

Vizinhança

A few streets away you will find Waterlilly Park - a great family space with children's play grounds, BBQ and tennis courts (required to be booked in advance). In the other direction you can walk 5 minutes to Devines Lookout a beautiful, high-up viewpoint overlooking the ocean, Brunswick Heads river and the hinterland. Within just a couple minutes' drive you will find yourself kayaking, swimming in the river or sea, golfing, lounging on a beach or just catching up at the local cafes. Drive for half an hour North and you will find the amazing Gold Coast, it's famed for its long sandy beaches, surfing spots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways. It’s also home to theme parks such as Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild. Inland hiking trails crisscross Lamington National Park’s mountain ridges and valleys which is home to some of Australia's most beautiful flora and fauna.

The best way to get to our home is flying into Coolangatta airport on the Gold Coast then taking a short 30 minute drive south on Pacific Highway.

The closest airports are Coolangatta (Queensland) and Ballina (New South Wales) which are both roughly a 30 minute drive via the Pacific Highway (M1).

Locomoção

Ocean Shores village is only 700m away which hosts a Coles, tavern, bakery, butcher, newsagent, cafes and more. If you're looking for some really nice cafes with beautiful river views, take a short 2km drive into famous Brunswick Heads. A local hidden gem is the Coolamon Scenic Co Cafe (within the enchanted nursery) only 1.4km away.
