General overview

We love our apartment - it is nice and spacious and offers beautiful views as well as great proximity and transport connections to anything a heart desires! In 15 - 20 mins you can be sipping a coffee in the center of Vienna just as Sigmund Freud used to, or you can visit his museum or go for a hike in the hills. Vienna has a lot to offer to everyone. Incredible architecture, lots of parks, international cuisine, shopping - you name it. As parents we are often spoilt for choice as there is so much to do in our city for families and kids and Vienna offers great accessibility (for prams and buggies as well). We live on the 6th floor of a new building and have an elevator. Our balcony faces a gorgeous park that has several play areas for kids and beautiful nature. There are several small parks and playgrounds nearby and world famous Schönbrunn and its Zoo is about 20 mins away by tram. 15 minutes away from us is the public pool for families and kids.

The space

The apartment has 3 rooms: - one bedroom, - one kids room with lots and lots of books and toys, - one living room with a kitchen. We also have a beautiful bathroom with a bath (and shower above it). Toilet is separate. Our spacious balcony is the highlight of every summer, but also of other seasons (see the pictures). In the living room there is our cosy couch and a big wall desk, since we usually both work from home. Here we also have a big screen, which is connected to a Playstation, so Netflix and similar services are available. One floor above us is the communal terrace that offers gorgeous views all year round.

Neighbourhood

We live in a newly built area, that has been developing really nicely, but also neighbouring some of the beautiful older areas of our district.

Getting to my home

There is a metro station on our street. It is about 7 mins walking distance. The metro line takes you to the center in 15 minutes. There are also several tram stops in a walking distance and bus stops that serve you depending on where you wish to go to.

Vienna Airport is about an hour away by public transport

Getting around

Several trams and buses stop close to our house and there is a metro station in a walking distance.

Hi everybody! We are Olga & Wayne. We travel with our daughter and usually look for longer simultaneous or globe exchanges of at least 3 weeks. We gladly take care of pets.
