Neighbourhood

Dromod is a small village with a mix of locals and holiday homes. It comes alive in the summer when there are plenty of boats in the harbour. the village has walking trails, tennis courts, 3 pubs and a local supermarket.

Getting to my home

Dromod is 90 mins drive from Dublin airport. You can also take the train from Dublin, it’s a 2 hour journey and the train station is only 10 mins walk from the station.

Getting around

its just a 5 min. walk to the shops and local pubs but you will need a car for exploring. ( possibility to exchange cars) -The train station is a 5 mins walk away and the Dublin-Sligo train stops here if you fancy a rail trip to Dublin

We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 teen girls, experienced exchangers, having completed 10 successful exchange trips pre- Covid. We are open to all destinations but would like to spend a week in Paris at the end of July. Would love a city break city for Christmas/ New Year 23/25’ anywhere in Europe. We are exchanging our holiday home so can do both simultaneous and non-simultaneous. Happy to exchange cars too.
