Leysin is a quiet village on top of a Swiss alp, facing south for wonderful light. It's known as a very sporty village with a variety of options: skiing, hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, and even a year round large ice skating rink. Getting around

Leysin is a true Swiss mountain village. It's known to be a sporty town for all seasons, where 3 Olympic medalists live! The streets are very safe to walk on, and will definitely keep you in good shape! There is a free shuttle that stops near the chalet (2 min walk) that does circuit around town. E-bikes (street) and mountain bikes (off road) are very popular here. There is a local taxi service if needed.
