General overview

Discover San Miguel de Allende, Mexico (voted Best City in the World) on foot from our comfortable, kid-friendly home that's walkable to all the local attractions. Our 2BR house offers one-level living and lush gardens. Upstairs from our house is a separate studio apartment that comfortably sleeps 2. Our house is safe and secure and is equipped with a security system.

The space

We have a living room, dining room, two bedrooms (one is a kid's room), porches and patios galore, plus a separate studio apartment upstairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Off-street parking. We offer maid and gardener service.

Guest access

Main house is all on one level. The separate guest apartment is located off our upper terrace.

Notes

We currently have a low-key indoor/outdoor rabbit that would need care (food/water and litter box maintenance), if you're up for it (otherwise we can look into having someone else take him for the exchange period, but our preference would be to keep him at home). We are fully open to exchanges with pets to care for!

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is just adjacent to Centro. It's a 10-minute walk to the famous Jardin, and just as close to the bustling Ancha.

Nearest airport

Leon (BJX) and Queretaro airports are both 1.5 hours away; otherwise Mexico City is 3.5 hours away and there is a direct luxury coach bus to SMA.

Getting around

You don't need a car to do anything in the city center. For excursions further afield, taxis and Ubers are plentiful. We do own a car, and can discuss car exchanges if desired.
