Neighbourhood
We live in a really quiet residential area, around a 15 minute walk from the centre of Haddington and a 10 minute walk from the bus stop that will take you into the centre of Edinburgh in 40 minutes.
There are playing fields within a five minute walk and a beautiful riverside walk that starts just across the road from the entrance to our street. We really are in the best spot to take advantage of everything the town has to offer.
Nearest airport
Edinburgh airport is a 40 minute drive away or around 1.5 hours on public transport.
Getting around
We often walk to the shops as they’re around 15 minutes away and the route into the centre of town is very flat. There’s a small essentials shop around a five minute walk away that has lots of items available too.
There are bikes available for your use, one with a basket and another with a child’s seat as well as helmets for all sizes. The house is very close to a cycle path that will take you along the river and into town, or you can cycle via the road.
