Edinburgh airport is a 40 minute drive away or around 1.5 hours on public transport.

Getting Around

The route into the centre of town is very flat and you can walk there in around 20 minutes. There’s a retail park around a 10 minute walk away that includes a supermarket, coffee shops, 24 hour petrol station. There are bikes available for your use, one with a basket and another with a child’s seat as well as helmets for all sizes, though depending where we are we may have our bikes and helmets with us. Do ask! The house is very close to a cycle path that will take you along the river and into town, or you can cycle via the road.
