Our house is located in the village of Meterik. A small cosy town part of Horst aan de Maas where most facilities are. This town is only 3 km away. From the house you can see the typical Dutch windmill of Meterik. And from the street you can see the church.

The house is an annex to our home. We lived here when remodelling it. Now it is available for holidays. When we exchange houses you can enjoy our huge garden with large trampoline and (above-ground) swimmingpool. The stair can be folded high so little children cannot go into the pool unexpectedly. Next to the terrace in front of your garden there is a covert terrace in the backyard. In the evenings it is very quiet and we have a great starry sky. And in the morning you can enjoy a self-picked egg from our beautiful Wyandotte bantam chickens. We would appreciate it when you can feed them.

There are lots of things to do and see in the vicinity (see below). Various walking and biking trails pass the house. On saturday afternoons you can visit the windmill. Various farmers sell their vegetables, fruit and meat directly. It is really advisable to try these superfresh products. In the house you will find a folder with these addresses and information about things to do in the area. 

The house has smooth floors (no carpet) in combination with the synthetic pillows and duvets it is very suitable for people with a dust-allergy.

De ruimte

When you arrive you walk past the driveway to your house. You will see your terrace before you enter. Once enteren you will find on the groundfloor the livingroom with dining area and open kitchen. The livingroom has large sofa and arm-chair. There is a cabinet with screen which can be connected to your own device. There also is a dining table with 4 chairs. The modern kitchen is equipped with a large oven, induction stove, dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer. A coffemaker (Senseo) and water boiler are present as is an extensive array of kitchen utensils. 
On the first floor is the bathroom equipped with washbin, toilet and shower.
There are 2 very large bedrooms. One has 2 single beds (90*200cm), the other a 2 persons boxspring, which can be changed into 2 single beds of 80*200cm. Bedlinnen, towels and tea-towels are provided.

Toegang voor je gasten

You can acces the house with a key which will be stored in a key-safe. The access is on the ground floor. You can arrive at any desired time.

For todlers 1 crib is available (this may be as a 5th person) as are 2 baby-chairs and a fence for the stairs.
There is a fence around the garden.

The best way to get to our house is by car. We are located close to highway A73 and A67. The nearest train station is Horst-Sevenum and the nearest airport is Weeze.

Vervoer in je omgeving

Since the house is located at a rural area you will need your own transportation. 
You will need a car or bike to go shopping. The shops are in Horst. In the center are supupermarkets (Lidl, Plus, Jumbo, AH) as well as local shops. It is at 3 km (or 6 min) from the house.
You can however buy lots of vegetables and fruits directly at the farmers in the area. Information of location is at the house.
Trainstation Horst-Sevenum is at 4 km / 7 min. Free parking.
