Omgeving

The house is directly across a social gathering place / café that has very democratic prices for food and drinks. Directly next to that is a local chapter of the girl's scouts. 25 meters from the house is the main road of Borgerhout, connecting to the heart of Antwerp. This is a very lively road with a lot of multicultural shops, restaurants, thee houses, bars, ... There is also a police station right next to the subway station. The access to their garage is in our street, so if you see police cars in the street, no need to panic :-) There is a park called 'Krugerplein' on the other side of the main road, about 500 meters from the house, with a playground, a café, an organic 'frituur' (Belgian fries!) and a very popular ice cream shop that makes it's own, very tasty ice cream. If you like falafel, definitely try the Falafel King on the main road! It is not far from the house, maybe a 5 minute walk.. It is very close to another great place called The Roma. This old cinema was saved and completely rebuilt by volunteers into a beautiful venue that is used for all kinds of events, especially concerts. If you like old buildings, you might also like to visit the district's house of administration on the Moorkensplein. There are some beautiful beautiful buildings, churches and old houses around here for you to discover! And that is only within the first kilometer on your way to the stunning center of Antwerp.. :-) Antwerp Central Station - 2 km Station Antwerpen-Berchem - 2 km Roma - 300 m Trix - 950m Sinkse foor 2026 (biggest fair in Flanders, 23/05-28/06) - 1 km Sportpaleis en Lotto-arena - < 3 km

Dichtstbijzijnde luchthaven

Antwerpen-Deurne is a very small airport that is about 4 km from the house, 10 min by car. Brussels Airport - Zaventem is 45 km, +/- 35 min by car.

Vervoer in je omgeving

The city center is about 2 km from the house and can be reached by bike, step, tram, bus or metro. The bus/tram stop is about 200 meters from the house. There is a metro station 25 meters from the house, on the corner of the street. There is a connection to the city center every 5 minutes, give or take, and in takes about 10-15 minutes to get there.
