Barcelona, with its gothic streets, its natural parks, its architectural monuments known all over the world and its exquisite gastronomy, is a unique place in the world. Barcelona has the ideal size: it is neither too big nor too small. You can easily get to the most interesting places, either by cycling on its extensive network of bike paths, walking or by public transport. The first and perhaps most important reason to visit Barcelona is that it is open to the sea. Enjoying the Mediterranean, its breeze, its beaches, sand, and the sun has to be reason enough for you to want to come and enjoy a few days in this wonderful city. It also has natural viewpoints such as Motjuïc, and gardens such as Colserolla, Turó de Putxet, and Guinardó. Another reason is that the city is simply a museum, the gothic style, and modernism that cradle it makes it impossible not to come to admire the great buildings it contains, such as the Sagrada Familia. We recommend you to walk around the city with your eyes wide open and discover other great modernist works such as the Park Güell, with its famous lizard, the Palau de la Música, with its impressive skylight, the Casa Batlló, with its characteristic colorful mosaic facade, the Casa Ametller, and the Casa Milá, better known as La Pedrera with its famous wavy facade. Its cosmopolitan and dynamic spirit floats in the air and is lived in its streets. You only have to walk along Las Ramblas to realize it. Vibrant and full of life, Las Ramblas is one of the longest and most popular main streets in Europe. This boulevard is lined with trees, stores and cafes. Among the restaurants, there are flower stalls, kiosks with souvenirs of the city and ice cream. In addition, Las Ramblas is home to La Boqueria, the city's most famous traditional market, where you can sample 100% authentic local food. You should also get lost in the historic center: El Raval, the Gothic and Borne are a network of narrow streets that never cease to amaze. Tibidabo is the highest point of the Sierra de Collserola and is one of the must-see places in Barcelona. From up there, the panoramic views are amazing, especially at sunset, and you will have the city at your feet. Some typical dishes you can taste in Barcelona are black rice, fricandó, dried fruits and mushrooms in various presentations, escalibada, etc. In addition, Barcelona, being so cosmopolitan is home to many of the best restaurants in the world in Japanese food, Arabic, Mexican and more. You know, Barcelona is the ideal place to spend your vacations, your weekends or your days off. Every time you visit Barcelona expect a different surprise: an unexpected fair, an open-air concert, an impromptu party, an alternative festival. So don't let the cost of accommodation stop you from visiting this amazing city. People Like Us is the perfect solution for finding affordable accommodation.

People Like Us é a solução perfeita para encontrar acomodação a preços acessíveis.
