The house is literally five minutes walking from the ocean (you can sometimes hear the waves breaking from your bed). It is a topical Palapa (palm tree roof), it has gardens on the sides and half of the house is open, so there is good natural light and a constant breeze.
We love to cook, and have an open kitchen with a big bar, good for getting creative and sharing.
Inside it’s a simple room with a big queen size bed, a bathroom and a small washing area.
The village has a beautiful community energy with a lot of art happening (there is a circus, an art space with plenty of workshops every day (dance, sports...), and a lot of jam and concerts happening. The place is also a reserve of turtles and a place where whales come to give birth during wintertime, so you get to see whales jumping during sunset. We spent many winters there and were super grateful about it. It is a really amazing place to relax and create, with beautiful people to connect with if you want. We will let our foam boards so you can use them to surf, and also a nice bicycle.
There is also a small cat coming and going, and our neighbors have a dog hanging around, so you might like animals. Anyway, if you don't like small animals or waking up with a squirrel or an iguana in the kitchen, this is not a place for you 🙂

Elina
We are a couple living in a beautiful village on the Pacific coast of Mexico (the village is called San Francisco, in the State of Nayarit) and looking for exchanging house with people in Berlin, starting on September.
Elina is a dancer and she will be doing a dance training for 10 months in Berlin (September-June), and Christopher is an artist, (christopher_houweling) and also planning on working during the winter there.
