Happy to meet up for coffee or show you some local sights!
Very comfortable apt with lots of light, but the best thing about it was Winnie and Patrick. They were super helpful, very communicative, had great recommendations, and even offered to take care of us if a pilot strike delayed our departure.
Patrick and Winnie were terrific guests at the villa. They stayed at the very last minute and were easy to work with despite the quick request to stay. The staff enjoyed them very much.
Winnie and Patrick were such amazing guests and it was such a great pleasure to share our home with them!
Everything went super smooth, from the first request for an exchange to video call and them arriving and staying at our home. They loved our dog Luna and she enjoyed their company while we were on Christmas break.
Thank you, Winnie and Patrick, for being so respectful and thoughtful, the yummie goodies from Singapore and your lovely letter! You will be always welcome to Bali again :)
We hope to find our way to Montreal one day!
Patrick and Winnie were communicative guests, very helpful in my home and with my cat. I appreciated that they left my home in good order. I recommend Patrick & Winnie as guests.
That was not an easy one to organize but once it was … the rest was very smooth ! Winnie has been very autonomous and did not request much support onsite.
I am glad it worked out in the end. I am also grateful for PLU support team help in getting Winnie’s phone number. I believe that adding phone numbers to our profile is a great enhancement when technology is failing we can always rely on a phone call 😀
Patrick and Winnie were terrific guests in our home. They were our first family and so we really appreciated learning the ropes from them. When they left, they made sure that the sheets were washed, bed was made, and that the place looked like it had when they walked in. I highly recommend them as guests.
Our stay at Tanja and Martins' home in Canggu was absolutely wonderful. Their home is in the ideal location as it tucked away in a quiet alley, yet only a short 3-minute walk to a variety of local and international restaurants, boutiques, spas, and other amenities. It made everything we needed just a stone’s throw away.
The villa itself was spacious and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to completely relax, even on the rainy days (which we encountered plenty during the rainy season). We felt right at home in the large, cozy space that allowed us to unwind and recharge.
Luna was such a sweet and friendly dog and just want to be near us whenever we are at the dining table to work or chill. We already miss giving her head scratches!
Ibu Komang (house manager) was warm, welcoming, and attentive. She made sure we were comfortable. We were also in touch with Tanja, whom we met via a video call before our arrival (she was on a ski trip at the time). Her communication throughout the stay was excellent, and it really felt like everything was well taken care of.
We honestly count ourselves very lucky to have the trust of Tanja and Martin to stay at their lovely home.
Tanja, thank you so much for such a lovely stay. Your family is always welcome to visit us in Montreal, and we’d love to return the favour (you can have our whole apartment).
Useful tip for future guests: Follow Tanja’s recommendation to use "Secret Cabana" as the location for all Grab deliveries. It made everything super easy and convenient.
We had a wonderful stay at Illka’s apartment during our house swap. The apartment is in a central location with easy access to the city center. It was very comfortable for two, with all the amenities we needed.
Patches, the sweet but shy cat, was a joy to care for. She loves prawns and tuna, so we enjoyed pampering her with her favourite treats.
Illka was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She met us beforehand so we can say hi and discuss Patches' care. She also made sure her helper cleaned the apartment upon our arrival.
We’re looking forward to hosting Illka in Montreal.
We are thankful and really happy that we got to stay at this beautiful and spacious hotel room at the Palm while we were in Dubai for a family's wedding. We were able to get dry cleaning done easily (very important for a wedding!) and the complimentary valet was icing on the cake. Though we didn't use much of the hotel's amenities due to wedding activities and spending most of our time with families, we took a walk one late evening and saw the beach, infinity pool, plenty of deck chairs and restaurants. Anick was understanding, patient and gave a lot of info to ensure we had a great stay. Honestly, we couldn't have used our globe for a better stay.
Anick, thank you again for reaching out via whatsapp and making this happen. And we look forward to our next stay when we visit family in Dubai again.
Side note: We had to pay AED20 cleaning fee daily (for other guests' future reference) but we honestly didn't mind as we were busy with family's wedding activities and were happy to have daily housekeeping.
It was a lovely stay at Lucy and Dennis' place. As they were new to home exchange, we made sure to have 2 video calls and met in advance. It was great to be able to experience a different part of Montreal - their home was 10 mins easy walk to the metro, near shops and restaurants, and most importantly, the beds were very comfortable. It was a spacious home (a family with more people would definitely appreciate the amount of space). We are really excited for Lucy and Dennis to go on this new exciting home exchange journey and would recommend them as hosts.
