Neighbourhood

We LOVE our neighborhood. It's very cute and has some of the best food in the city! We'll leave a list of our favorite places for you to experience while you're here.

Nearest airport

The Denver airport is a 35 minute drive ($30ish Uber/Lyft) or a $9 per person train ride to get to Union Station which is about a mile from our home.

Getting Around

We're walking distance to many things including a fancy grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. If you'd like to go into the mountains for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, or anything else, we suggest renting a car.

Emma

We are a family of four - Emma, Dan, and our two little girls! We're based in Denver and also have a mountain house about an hour away. We are well-traveled and prefer longer stays in one place when possible, especially for international trips. We usually spend one to two months out of the country each year - typically sometime between July and October. My husband is a computer programmer and I own my own business in political consulting - we're both able to work quite a bit remotely, though need to be more local for portions of the year based on the legislative schedule. We also have two sweet medium-sized dogs named Nora and Pepper, as well as several backyard chickens.
