This was my first hospitality stay as a guest and I can summarize it in one word, WOW!!! Lisa and I first connected some years ago, but had not exchanged before. When it turned out I was going to pass her home on my travel, I reached out and asked if she possibly had a bed available for me, one night only. And she had (a very comfy one)! Lisa warmly welcomed me and even prepared dinner and breakfast, which was way above my expectations. I am so grateful for the generousity and am happy I have found a new friend. Thank you so much Lisa and please do not hesitate if you pass by my home, I would always welcome you, on a coffee or to stay the night (in our newly decorated guest room) or whatever you would ask for.

We had a great time in Lisas beautiful and spacious home, harmony inside and outside. Terraces on both sides, so we could enjoy shade/ sunshine. This week was unusual warm in Sweden so the aircon in the livingroom was luxury:) Lisa is a lovely lady, and we met briefly when she showed us the house. Quick and easy communication. Her cat Leo is sweet and cool, and we fed him morning and evening. There is a lot to do and see in this area, Tjoløholm castle nearby and Varberg castle is not far away. Can recommend Fridas Restaurang in Kærradal, great food/ service and beautiful location right by the sandy beach. In Gothenburg we visited the nature/ science museum Universeum with 3 D space films in Wisdome. You can easily spend 4-5 hours there with kids. If you are interested in Volvo Cars the World of Volvo museum is worth a visit and close to Liseberg amusement park and Universeum. Since we have family in the area we spent most of our time with them. We can warmly recommend to stay in Lisas home!

Lisa’s home was our base for a good week end of July. We had great contact during the whole process and can only recommend Lisa’s tastefully finished house and really comfortable bed and couches. There are multiple decks you can sit and enjoy the sun (we enjoyed a week of full sunshine so also looked up the shade). The back is more quiet than the front and it’s nice to have the option to be in different outdoor spaces. There are so many things to see, we went to Gothenburg a very short ride twice, but the second time only to go island hopping by public transportation (we bought the day card which was really cheap). However, the rest of the time we enjoyed the local splendour, the fjord, the villages, hikes in nearby nature reserves. There’s so much to see and do if you like us like the mix of nature, city and relaxing in a really nice home after a day of adventure. Lisa many thanks for letting us visit with our dog Molly, even your cat Leo let us stay! We enjoyed our evening together and hope we will meet again! This exchange comes highly recommended.

Lisa has a beautiful and spacious home with everything you need. The house was tidy and clean and had a nice garden and a lovely conservatory where we had breakfast every morning. There is a really nice beach close by and the kids enjoyed some crab fishing. The best pizza ever is just a 2 min walk from the house!! We were lucky to meet both Lisa and her lovely daughter. They were both really sweet and helpful. We fell in love with Leo the cat!❤️ Thank you so much for a great vacation Lisa! I hope to see you again some day!

We had the most wonderful time in Lisa's home - it is the most restful, airy, comfortable house and we loved our stay here! We had everything we could possibly need - a terrific kitchen to cook in, very comfy beds and a very beautiful loving room with a huge couch and a stunning view of the gorgeous area in which Lisa lives. We loved Leo - the most independent and courteous cat we have ever met - we looked forward to meeting him every evening we came home. Onsala is a lovely area and you might be lucky enough to be there at a time when the observatory is open for visitors - we also loved nearby Kungsbacka and in the surrounding area there is everything one could need in terms of dining, shopping and lovely walks. Goteborg is 25 away by car and is a fantastic city - absolutely worth a number of days exploration. Some stunning islands are also nearby - many of which are accessible and truly worth visiting - we went to Marstrand and if we had time we would have explored more - this area of Western Sweden is extraordinarily beautiful and we will be back!
