Neighbourhood
The Atlantic coast dominates the state's attractions with historic lighthouses dotting the rugged shoreline and picturesque windjammers sailing in the seas. Acadia National Park, one of Maine's coastal treasures, is only two hours away, and Camden Hills State Park is a mere thirty minutes.
Cushing is home to many well-known painters, sculptors, writers and offers the Olsen House and the Langlais Preserve, two art related museums . Much of the land is in conservation and there are walking and hiking trails nearby. The village has a nearby general store, library, and post office. If you are looking for peace, quiet and tranquility come to Cushing. Centrally located with easy access to museums, fine dining and outdoor lobster shacks. Nearby Rockland is home to the Farnsworth and Center for Maine Contemporary Art Museums, The Strand Theatre and numerous galleries. Take a ferry to Monhegan Island for the day. Attend one of the many fine concerts offered by Bay Chamber Concerts in Rockport. Dine at Primo or Miranda's or In Good Company or Natalie's or...... Camden and Damariscotta are other nearby local towns. After a day exploring the mid-coast region come home to a beautiful sunset and a peaceful evening.

The closest airport is Augusta, Maine, which is one hour away. Portland, Maine is one and a half hours away.
Getting around
We are 20 minutes to Rockland and 30 minutes to Camden.
