Neighbourhood

Our house is located in a residential area and within walking and cycling distance of the village center of Beuningen (700 mtr). Many shops, a library and some lunchrooms. The city of Nijmegen is close by (7 km). The natural environment of Beuningen is the river Waal (2.3 km) with its floodplains and meandering dikes. This area is ideal for beautiful bike rides. The historic city of Nijmegen with many cultures, theaters and museums is 10 minutes away by car. The International Four Days Marches Nijmegen is the largest multi-day march/walking event in the world and is organized annually. Day 2 the march goes through Beuningen. Only a block further than 40,000 walkers pass. An excellent opportunity to encourage hikers from our own country, but also walkers from all over the world. Beuningen is buzzing and buzzing that day. Nijmegen is full of music, a fair and outdoor food stalls all week. Nearby are the A50 and A73 motorways. Sightseeing in Arnhem, Den Bosch, exploring the Hoge Veluwe or the hilly forest behind the moraine in the Rijk van Nijmegen, a visit to the famous fantasy park 'Efteling'. All perfect day trips. Düsseldorf Weeze NRN Airport and Eindhoven EIN Airport are a 60 km (40 min) drive. And even though we live near the German border, Amsterdam is only 1.5 hours away. Close by or within an hour's drive there is so much to offer. We are happy to give you tips. We provide you with all kinds of brochures and a google map to help you find your way around.
