General Overview

We are living in a large, top modern house in a safe, quiet area, with everything you need close by. Lørenskog is perfect for families. Or maybe a romantic getaway for two? Close to Oslo, but without all the city noise. Trains going frequently. If you like you can use our electric car. We have a double inflatable bed that you can use if you need more beds. Its actually quite comfy🙂

Neighbourhood

We live in a quiet, safe place with friendly neighbours. No crime.Close to everything. We have two children so we do have lots of toys like lego,boardgames, PlayStation. You can watch a movie on Blueray, Netflix or Viaplay etc in our cinema. You can also cromecast from your phone. 6 min walk to the nearest trainstation. Trains going frequently. 7 min walk to two grosery-stores, a bistro a cozy cafe/bakery, and Europris. ( They have eveything you need) 15 min walk to the town Strømmen, where you’ll find the biggest shopping mall in Norway. Here are also loads of restaurants, activities, cafes etc. We have 3 bicycles that you can use. One for adult and two for kids. 5 min drive to a small sandy beach. You can use our inflatable toys. 45 min drive to a huge beautiful sandy beach (both freshwater) 30 min drive to the ocean and beautiful beaches. Lots of restaurants to order takeaway from. Cinemas nearby. Bowling. Theather. Lots of places to visit if you have kids. Huge indoor playground(Megafun) with laserworld and 6D cinema 5 min away. New gigantic indoor trampolinepark called «Jumpyard» 5 min drive from our house. The amazing SNØ is also only 4 min by car https://snooslo.no/ . You can go skiing (cross-country and down hill) indoor all year long. You can rent all the equipment you need or use ours. We have everything you need very close. Oslo has everything: Museums, botanical garden, outdoor saunas, city beaches, food from all over the world, parks, activities for kids, nightlife...etc.. you will not be bored! What about walking on the roof of our famous Operahouse? Or visit the real KON TIKI raft of Thor Heyerdahl? The train will take you to Oslo in about 20 min. Tusenfryd, a huge amusementpark is just a 35 min drive from our house. Here you’ll also find a waterpark,restaurants and lots of fun for both kids and adults! Aker brygge is a beautiful part of Oslo where you’ll find ferries that can take you to all the Islands in Oslofjorden in just a few minutes in spring/summer. There are many places for hiking/camping and several museums like the Viking museum. You can visit Holmenkollen if you are interested in ski-jumping. There you can also try the zip-line if you are brave enough.Its called «KOLLENSVEVET» or the crazy ski-simulator. We’re happy to answer any question you might have before or during the trip🙂

Getting to my home

The AirPort Gardermoen, is located 30 min from our house. From there you can easily catch a train or get a taxi, but taxies are really expensive so I would recommend a train. We will be happy to help you with your travels or anything else that you might need while youre here.

  • Heidi and Richard have a lovely and spacious home. It has all you need for a great vacation. Their home is exceptionally clean and decorated with style. Our girls loved the games, toys and the hot tub, and the movie theater was just fab! Their home has great views and is very well located. Close by there are shops and restaurants and a train station (easy access to Oslo center). We also loved the trails in the woods nearby. The highway is close by and easy to access. Heidi was truly lovely and made sure we have everything we need for a great stay. I highly recommend exchanging with them!
