Neighbourhood
We have a quiet neighborhood near shopping and public transportation. Nearby Joyner park and it’s playground are within walking distance of our home (1/2-3/4 mile). Neighborhood pool is small and usually uncrowded. Guests are welcome to enjoy it.
Our neighborhood is located near main roads but traffic is not an issue in our neighborhood.
We live one mile away from historic Wake Forest. Enjoy walking or riding your bike down the road see homes with much history. You can even come during Halloween in which the historic area homes decorate and give out candy. This party is quickly becoming a favorite of many that live in our area.
Also one mile from our home is downtown Wake Forest. Rummage through antique shops, eat at well known Shorty’s Famous Hot Dogs (e. 1916) or local ice cream shop, Lumpy’s, enjoy tapas and wine or relax at one of our local downtown breweries.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)-25 minute drive
Getting Around
Public transportation is available in our town of Wake Forest and connects to public transportation into Raleigh where many restaurants, museums, parks and universities are located. Public transportation via bus system in Wake Forest is free. Bus stop is within 1/4 mile of our home.
