General overview

Peaceful, small, free-standing, single level family home within a complex of 10 homes. Best suited for 1-3 people. Not really suitable to small children. Fragrance free home.

The space

Our home is practical and cosy, with very little clutter. It has an open plan kitchen and living room area; 3 bedrooms of which 2 are home offices. The main bedroom has 2 x king single beds next to each other - very spacious! 2 fully renovated bathrooms. Ducted aircon throughout. Solar powered. Beautiful outdoor living space - covered patio with BBQ, TV, fan. Small garden with spa. Carport right outside the front door. We are in a bird corridor - they might wake you up in the mornings, but it's great fun to listen to the kerfuffle...

Access to the whole house. Smoking strictly outside only.

Notes

We are on a flight path for Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta OOL) so you will hear some airplanes flying over during the day and until about 10pm. It is not a large or particularly busy airport, and it depends on the direction of the wind. Some days can be a little noisy, other days not at all.

Neighbourhood

Residential area. We are still in NSW but 5km from the coastal border with Queensland and the Southern edge of the Gold Coast. Shops within 8 minutes walking distance, flat surface! More shops within a 5 minute drive. 10-15 minutes by car brings you to many beaches like Fingal, Kingscliff, Coolangatta. 40 minutes North to many Gold Coast attractions like Surfers Paradise, Wet&Wild, Seaworld etc. 45 minutes South to Byron Bay, and 40-60 minutes West to mountains like Mount Tamborine, Springbrook National Park and Mount Warning. 10min from Gold Coast airport. After a day out in busy Gold Coast, it is wonderful to return to our peaceful little oasis. Lovely local walks - including 800 metres to Lake Kimberley which has a 1.25km footpath right around. Great restaurants in Kingscliff, Coolangatta and further afield. Always peaceful to return home after a busy day.

Getting to my home

10 minutes from Gold Coast Airport. 1.5-2 hours from Brisbane Airport. Best to have a car, so that you can make the most of the surrounding areas.

10 minutes from Gold Coast Airport. About 1.5 - 2 hours from Brisbane Airport depending on the time of the day.

Getting around

Best to have a car to get the most from the area. Supermarket and basic mall just 10 minutes by foot. Club with golf course, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts right next door. Larger malls are 10 minutes away by car. There is a bus service, but I wouldn't rely only on that.
