Neighbourhood
In the neighborhood there is a small toddler park closest to the house, and a much larger park across the road. We are on a mountain so you can get a workout walking the hills early mornings or evenings when it's cool. Everywhere you walk or drive will be accompanied by magnificent scenery, ocean views, mountain backdrops, floral colors, sky- and ocean- blues.
Iao Valley is a stunning natural beauty and is minutes away. Go take a dip in the river on a hot afternoon! You'll thank me. It's glorious, my mother says it's the most beautiful spot in the world.

OGG is the local airport in Kahului, HI
Getting around
You'll want to drive. There are restaurants in walking distance and a supermarket nearby, but the car will get you to all beaches, hikes, waterfalls, cliff jumping, the famous Road to Hana, the Haleakala Crater...yeah, you'll need a car. You can rent one and park at the house or we could discuss you using my car.
