Located in one of Estepona's many hillside golf communities, our apartment looks out on the Sierra Bermeja's highest summit, a lovely pond filled with life, one of two swimming pools, two golf courses, and the sunrise and moonrise. (Note that we moved to this apartment when our former home was badly damaged by Tropical Storm Francis in January 2026.) Start your morning on our large covered terrace, where you'll enjoy abundant pond life, and linger in the evening to a chorus of frogs. Within a 15-minute drive are Costa del Sol beaches and the city's Old Town; restaurants, grocery stores, and other commercial services; and many cultural, historical, and natural attractions. Some of Andalucía's iconic whitewashed, hilltop villages are within a 30-minute drive, and major cities such as Málaga, Cádiz, Seville, Jerez de la Frontera, Granada, and Córdoba are from one to 2.5 hours away.

The Space

The apartment includes 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry room, all with central air conditioning and heating. Our large, fully covered terrace faces east for morning sun and afternoon shade. Assigned parking for one car in a garage within the building, directly beneath our apartment.

Guest Access

Our apartment is on the ground floor in a secure community, with pedestrian access at apartment level and also steps and an elevator leading to or from our parking space in the garage, one floor down.

Notes

1) Our listing was originally for a different home, which was substantially destroyed by flooding in January 2026. This forced us to move to our current location. Our first guests stayed in our new home in August 2026, so all reviews prior to that date pertained to our former home.

2) Our new, current home is much nicer than our previous apartment, with central air conditioning and heating, newer appliances, better security, a large, fully covered terrace overlooking mountainside scenery, a golf course and pond, reserved garage parking, and single-level accommodations all being significant advantages.

3) A car will be necessary for stays at our apartment because our community is not within walking distance to Estepona's public transportation system or any services. Note, however, that for reciprocal exchanges that allow us to use your vehicle, we will happily cover the rental cost of a vehicle while you are at our home.

Our secure, gated community is surrounded by golf courses and natural hillside landscapes, yet is within a few minutes' drive of Alboran Sea shores, mountain roads, and all services.

Getting to my home

The closest international airports are Málaga (1 hour) and Gibraltar (45 minutes), with Málaga offering a far greater number of airlines and flights. High-speed rail connects interior cities like Seville and Madrid by way of Algeciras (40 minutes to the west) and Málaga (one hour to the east).

Getting Around

A car is necessary as no public transportation is within walking distance of our apartment. Reputable, comparatively inexpensive rental car companies serve all major cities and communities in Spain, including Estepona. It's easy to rent a car at the airports and near the Málaga and Algeciras rail stations. (For reciprocal exchanges that include use of your car, we happily cover your car rental cost when your stay at our home in Spain.) You'll need to carry small bills or euros to use Estepona's public bus system, or you can buy an Avanza bonobús card at the city's bus station.
