Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is very quiet (and not appropriate for parties or late night noise). There are two playgrounds and a cemetery with 2 ponds and walking paths. There are a few other playgrounds within walking distance.
We're within walking distance of the MBTA train and downtown Salem. There is on street and driveway parking at our house.
Everyone is super friendly and most people say hello. The neighbors on our block are wonderful. One house is a family with a kid. The other houses are individuals or couples 50 years or older. Everyone looks out for each other here.
Nearest airport
Boston Logan Airport (13 to 23 miles depending on route). It is about 35 minutes without traffic. Choose the wrong time and it could be an hour or more (I would highly recommend using google maps with the depart at time to figure out how long it might take)
Getting around
We are walking distance to the commuter rail train station. Downtown Salem is also within walking distance. Grocery stores are less then 10 minute drive in most directions. Multiple beaches are within 15 minutes. There are tons or parks, playgrounds, and other outdoor spaces within a short drive.
