General overview
Our Sierra Madre home is tucked in the foothills of the mountains in the small town of Sierra Madre. Around the corner are lovely hikes including the famous Mt. Wilson Trail. We are walking distance from the town of Sierra Madre, a safe community with it's own police and fire departments. We love the abundance of wildlife and the quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the great Los Angeles area.
The space
Approximately 2200 square feet of living space, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an office. The property itself is large and the house is surrounded by canyons on three sides. There is a walkway bridge that crosses from the 2nd floor into the side yard where there is a pool and raised bed gardens as well as a small play structure for smaller kids.
Guest access
2 floors, but there are stairs to enter the home. Unfortunately this is not accessible for anyone who needs a wheelchair to get around.

Neighbourhood
Peace and quiet in this part of the greater LA area. It often feels like the urbanness of the greater area falls away as you get closer to this home!
Getting around
You really need a car to explore Los Angeles from here. If you want to walk just locally into town you can get everything you need without a car. There is public transportation, but it takes time to use in Los Angeles as everything is spread apart.
