General Overview

Our lakefront home is located on a small, quiet lake in southwestern Maine, one hour from Portland, Maine, a half hour from the White Mountains of North Conway, New Hampshire and 2.5 hours from Boston, Massachusetts. PLEASE NOTE: SUMMER SEASONS FILL UP QUICKLY, SO PLAN AHEAD. WE ARE uSUALLY FULLY BOOKED BY JANUARY FOR OUR SUMMER WEEKS.

The Space

This oversized A-framed home has a huge deck with a gas grill, patio tables and chairs and overlook the sandy beach area. The beach area has a dock a swim raft and plenty of non-motorized boats for your use. The yard is large with plenty of room for yard games, also includes your own fire pit area. There is plenty of room inside the home for entertaining and with sleeping for 12 people, up to 8 adults plus children. .On the main living area is the small eat-in kitchen, living room area with a pellet stove, a master bedroom with a king bed and a spa bathroom with a separate shower. The loft area includes separate bedroom with a full bed and a small sitting area. The downstairs area is very large encompassing not only the house area, but also under the huge deck area It includes a common area that can be closed off for additional sleeping space using the double futon, a large family room that includes a bar area and a pool table, a second bathroom with a shower, a downstairs entry/exit area to the beach and finally our bunk room with two twin beds and two double beds. There is also a porta-crib available.

Guest Access

There are three areas of the home all accessed by spiral staircases. There are 5 stairs to get up to the deck and into the home. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Just be sure not to block the road that continues on past our home.

Notes

We have life jackets available for the boats. There is wood for sale near by. Please remember it is against the law to bring out of State firewood into Maine.

Neighbourhood

Our home is in a quiet camp area on the lake. Please respect our neighbors. Brownfield is a quiet community with one store/gas station, one restaurant, a community center with a new playground, a laundromat and a small market. There are local hiking trails nearby. It is also home to Stone Mountain Arts Center, check out their music line up online. They have shows year round and serve dinner before the show. We are close to Cornish or Fryeburg Maine with a few more restaurants and grocery stores and North Conway is only a half hour away with skiing, entertainment and summer fun activities.

Getting to my home

The lakehouse is located in Brownfield just off Rt 113, a main road traveling from Standish to Fryeburg, Maine. We are a half hour from North Conway, New Hampshire.

Nearest airport

The closest airport is Portland, Maine, 1 hour away. Boston is 2.5 hours away.

Getting Around

You will need a car to get around in our area. There is no public transportation or taxis or uber drivers.
