Deventer is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands (1250 years old).
It is on the border of the river "IJssel"
The city is famous for its old city centre which is mostly preserved.

Deventer is one of the Hanseatic cities, which all are worth visiting during your stay. (Doesburg, Elburg, Harderwijk, Hasselt, Hattem, Kampen, Zutphen & Zwolle)
Our city is in the eastern part of the Netherlands, 100km east from Amsterdam.
In the Netherlands there is a closed bike-trail path where you never will get lost.
