Neighbourhood

There are many parks around Norman Park plus easy access to shops. There is supermarket within walking distance and many coffee shops and restaurants within a three kilometer radius. The restaurant precincts of Hawthorne and Bulimba are within walking distance if you like to walk! There are also two reasonably priced cinemas in the area.

Brisbane Airport - approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic and time of day

Getting Around

Shops and restaurants are easily walkable from the house. Public transport to the city is at the top of the street (house side) and to Wynnum Manly on the opposite side of the road. There is a walkway under the road - along the river to cross the main road. The City Cat terminal is about a 10 minute walk and situated in the beautiful Mowbray Park. The City Cat can take you either way up the river and directly to the city. You can also catch a City Cat over to New Farm Park and go to the Farmers Markets held every Saturday.
