Our home is in a suburban area on the edge of Adelaide, backing onto Ansteys Hill National Park, where there are lots of great walking trails. Within 6 minutes drive or a bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the door) there is a great shopping mall, recently tastefully rennovated. (Tea Tree Plaza) where you can also go to the movies. At this location there is an express busway (O'Bahn) into the city, 15 minutes away. We are also within 40 minute drive from the world famous Barossa Valley, with about 50 wonderful wineries to visit, and enjoy free wine tasting. There is also plenty of good shopping nearby, restaurants and pubs. A half hour drive takes you to the pristine Adelaide beaches. A drive in the other direction, immediately gets you in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Neighbourhood
At the end of our road you (3 minutes by car) will find a large shopping centre, with an Aldi and a large Coles supermarket, bakery, coffee shop, chemist, dry cleaner and dress shop. There is also a 24 hour medical centre nearby. My sister and her family live a few doors away and are available if there are any questions or concerns. Our neighbours are quiet, and friendly.
Getting around
We would prefer a car exchange and also bike exchange if possible. The bus stop, which will connect to the whole city, including easy and cheap access to the airport, is right at the door.

We are retired teachers back to exploring the world. We love meeting people and discovering other ways they live.
Us
We have 4 sons scattered all around the world and so our love of travelling has a real focus! I love reading, and I always have a book 'on the go'. Terrell is very enthusiastic about photography. We are both enjoying the free life as retirees, and also have a great time hearing people's travel stories.
