General Overview
Lennox Head is a beautiful seaside town. We are a short 3 minute drive into the Main Street of town, or a 20 minute walk.
Byron Bay is a 20 minute drive away. We are so lucky to have some of the best beaches in the world, Amazing waterfalls, and incredible scenery.
Gold Coast is an hour away.

This listing is for the main part of the house.
We have a granny flat attached to the house which we have listed separately. If you are travelling with a large group we can add the two spaces together and then the property can become up a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 kitchen house. The house has several configurations depending on your travel group. I have created 3 listings to show different options.
We have a pool table and infrared sauna for your use.
We would prefer to swap with guests happy to feed our very easy cat Mia :) The yard is fully fenced, dogs welcome.
We would be open to dog swaps also! We have a mini sausage called Lenny.
The Space
Our house opens on to beautiful reserve and every day is an amazing sunset.

The open plan living area opens onto the outdoor bbq/kitchen area. Huge glass bifold doors open onto this area. We just don't get sick of the amazing sunsets! This area has remote control screens-perfect for those summer evenings where you want to sit outside all night.
The main area of the house has a reverse cycle air conditioner in the main living area. This is our family home, and there will be some of our belongings still in the house, but the bedrooms you will use are not used by us so none of our personal belongings will be in here. You welcome to use board games, books, Netflix, Binge and Disney +
Our house is in a residential area. It is not a party house. It is most suitable for a family. Linen and Bath towels and coffee supplied. Wifi included. Key safe at the front door for access.
You are welcome to use the baby grand piano, but please only do so if you are familiar with the piano, and only before 8pm. No drinks or food are to be near the piano. We also have a soundproof music room that is available by request.
The house is professionally cleaned.
We have a very friendly cat (indoor and outdoor) We can place her in a cattery if needed.

Neighbourhood
Lennox is a beautiful coastal town In Northern NSW. We are 2 minutes to beaches and shops and 5 minutes to Lake Ainsworth. (tea tree lake great for paddle boarding and swimming)
Lennox Head sits between Byron Bay (20 Minutes) and Ballina (10 minutes)
The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area. Definitely no parties please.
Gold Coast is one hour way.
We are so lucky to have some of the best beaches in the world, Amazing waterfalls, and incredible scenery.
Getting to my home
Ballina/Byron Airport is very close by. A car is definitely recommended in this area. There are so many amazing spots to explore. Waterfalls, rainforest, swimming holes, beaches. It is such a beautiful area!
We are open to car swaps. We can also recommend someone for car hire if we are not swapping cars.
Nearest airport
Byron gateway airport is 15 minutes drive from our house. Gold Coast airport is 1 hr.

We had a wonderful stay in Sally and Pete's apartment. It is very cosy and serene with a lovely private courtyard. It is only a short drive into the town centre and beach. There are so many different places to visit and the apartment is such a convenient place to base oneself.
There were so many provisions left for us including a lovely bottle of wine.
We hope to return again.
We had an exceptional time in Sally and Pete’s spacious, comfortable and super well equipped home in Lennox Head.
The location was perfect for accessing the beach and Lake Ainsworth.
The house is so well designed to accommodate either a small family or in our case, extended family too. The separation of spaces allowed for a comfortable stay and the entertaining area on the patio looking at the sunset each evening, was perfect for Summer BBQ’s.
We can’t thank you enough Sally and Pete for this wonderful opportunity.

We stayed for a week at Sally and Dave’s place in January, and had such a great time. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus making the most of the beautiful surrounds. Sally was super accommodating, full of helpful tips and a very welcoming host. Thanks Sally!
We had a fabulous stay at Sally and Pete's home. What a wonderful first PLU exchange for us. It has set the bar high for our next one!
Sally was easy to communicate with and we spoke and emailed several times before our exchange. Their house is in a beautiful, relaxing area and nothing is too far away. You can be as busy or as quiet as you like. We were very comfortable in their home and had a great time even though the weather wasn't too good and we hope to do another exchange with Sally and Pete in the future.
A lovely, spacious, comfortable house with large living/kitchen area, great beds and big tvs. Beautiful private courtyard in the front for a sunny morning coffee then a large shaded deck at the back, for lunch/snacks. Set near the end of a very quiet road, just bird song to losten to, this is a very peaceful location with bush outlook. Lovely fragrant 'Zero' hand-wash etc and many indoor plants.
Sally & Pete kindly lent us their e bikes so we loved exploring the local area. Nice coastal walkways plus the beach for a good leg stretch. The small town of Lennox Head is a friendly and welcoming place.

Sally needed a place to stay in Brisbane in a hurry as a result of a family emergency and we were happy to help.. Sally was a thoughtful and considerate guest and communication with her was warm and friendly. She left our apartment spotlessly clean with linen washed and bed remade. She coordinated with our friend (we were away) regarding keys and parking. We’d be happy to welcome Sally back anytime and hope to meet her in person.
Can’t recommend Sally enough, such a great and friendly soul. We had good communication throughout our whole stay and everything just felt very easygoing and we felt completely at home.

Sally and Peter were wonderful guests and left the apartment exactly as they found it. You wouldn't have thought they had even stayed there. it was so clean, the towels laundered, and the beds were remade as well.

Ben had some good chats, and loved sharing some of the history of the town and our story that brought bring us down here.

We had a fantastic exchange with Sally in Lennox Head for three days! The house was really comfortable, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped. Sally had left us snacks, drinks, croissants, and everything else we needed to have a great time. The house is close to the beautiful beaches, and from there, we could easily take day trips and walks all over the area. Communication with Sally was quick and easy. We truly loved the house and staying there was fantastic. We highly recommend it to everyone and recommend Sally as an exchange partner to the entire PLU community!

Can’t say enough about this wonderful exchange! Over and above Sally making us so welcome and loving everything about Lennox Heads (the cafes, bars, beaches and hikes) the highlight was Lennie!!! Gary and Sandy's apartment is spectacular. Amazing views of the river, beautifully furnished and in a great city location. The building has a gym, pool and spa and the apartment was homely and clean.
On top of that- Sandy was so incredibly kind to help us organise a very last minute stay due to a family emergency. She made her place available and organised the keys and car space so quickly. It was so very appreciated! I can't thank them both enough! I hope we can meet in person and exchange again one day in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in the Dordogne. What an incredible house - truly unlike anywhere we’ve ever stayed before.
Visiting in winter was special. The house was cosy and welcoming, and we loved having the fire burning every evening.
The town itself is rich in history, and wandering the streets at any time of day was impressive. We also explored neighbouring towns. While it was very quiet in winter, that added to the charm, there’s a real beauty in experiencing the area without crowds.
We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable stay. We would love to come back and see it in the summer now! ❤️

We loved our stay in Greg's apartment. The house is very clean and perfectly set up with everything we needed. It felt very welcoming and homely.
The area is great. An easy walk to many shops, restaurants and pubs. The station is a short walk and from here it is a breeze to get into the centre of London. We even caught an Uber taxi on the Themes into the centre of London. That was a first for us!
We loved our stay and are grateful for yet another perfect Home Exchange!

It is homely, clean and relaxing and in the perfect position to walk to the harbour, the beach or a major shopping centre. (As well as many smaller Bondi shops which is our preference)

Their house is equipped with everything you could need, and we love the front courtyard for our morning coffee. The area is one great. We walked to Bondi a couple of times and the harbour is also an easy enough walk away.

We loved our stay in Sal & Dave’s apartment. The place was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was perfect! It is in a great position in the heart of Bondi, but just off the busy street so you don’t hear much street noise. It was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed using the balcony and outdoor table for meals. There are also so many great restaurants and cafes close by.
Sal was so accomodating and lovey to chat to during every interaction, and the swap was a very easy process. I hope we can arrange some exchanges in the future and perhaps meet in person!
My husband and I were so appreciative to have been able to stay in the apartment for the 8 days we were there.
