About a mile east of the Capitol, right off of H Street NE is our townhome easily accessed from the streetcar. H street NE is full of great restaurants and bars and the Capitol Hill neighborhood is full of parks and playgrounds.

The Space

Open floor plan main living area with a play area, family room, kitchen and built in eating nook that opens into the back patio. The back patio has a table, chairs and grill with room to play. The second floor hosts a front bedroom with a crib and twin bed that pulls out into a king. It also has a small office attached. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with two twins. There is a small, full bathroom with a tub that the two front bedrooms share. The back bedroom is a modest sized owners suite. It hosts a queen bed, end tables and a Pelaton. The adjoining bathroom had double sinks and a waterfall shower.

Neighbourhood

The building is situated near Capitol Hill and all that H Street has to offer. Walking through the neighborhood and hitting up favorite spots, such as Maketto for a cup of coffee or Hill Prince for a cocktail on their patio, is recommended.

Getting Around

There is a streetcar about 2 blocks from our house that takes you directly to union station. The best stop by us is at 13th and H street NE. From there, you can walk to the Capitol or Mall, hop on the dc circulator for free, pay to ride a tour bus or take the metro anywhere you would like. We are walking distance to eastern market, union market and h street NE.
