Jacky and Marc's cabin near Mt. Baker was so cozy and sweet. We love the mountains and forests and nature so it was a perfect spot for our little family. They were so thoughtful to leave us sweet welcome gifts and wishes upon our arrival. They were flexible with us in timing and good with communication throughout. We loved the hot tub and walking in the neighborhood. The forests reminded me of the Hoh and Quinalt Rainforests in the Olympic national park. Their cabin is in a great location - only 2.5 hours from the Seattle airport, 1 hour from Bellingham with tons of hikes and medium size city things with beautiful nature to explore. Mt. Baker skiing was about 40 minutes away. It has been unseasonably warm this season so we weren't able to x country. But we did make it to the mountain for some snow play and it was beautiful. The cabin and little neighborhood are very peaceful and relaxing. We loved hiking nearby - Oyster Dome is a must do if you like hiking. I could enjoy this cabin in any season.. :-)

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Jacky and Marc's cabin near Mt. Baker. We visited the area last summer for a few days and were very excited to return to see more of the incredible natural beauty of the area. Their cabin is in a great location, near the town of Glacier for supplies and eating out (loved Wake and Bake and Gunners) and close to a plethora of hiking options. Our favorite hike was to Lake Ann (stunning views, waterfalls, glaciers, wildflowers), but Chain of Lakes and Yellow Aster Butte also did not disappoint. Having the hot tub to soak in after a long day of hiking was perfect! The cabin itself is roomy, comfortable and very clean. As the weather was quite nice, we spent a lot of time lounging on the deck. A highlight was seeing a pair of barred owls fly through the yard one evening then perch nearby calling back and forth to each other for about half an hour. For anyone who wants a true experience of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I'd highly recommend a stay with Jacky and Marc.

We just had a wonderful 8 day stay in Glacier, Wa! Marc and Jacky’s cabin is absolutely adorable, comfortable and very cozy. Located in the woods and very private/secluded but also fully stocked with everything you need and very clean. We loved being so close to hiking trails and waterfalls. I used "AllTrails" to check for the smaller trails not well known and was able to walk from the house to lone pine trail head with no issues. Only spent a small amount of time on the road. Lone pine trail was wonderful and the dogs loved it too! We thoroughly enjoyed the spa after a long hike and also the wood burning fireplace. Even though it was summer, for us being from Hawaii it was quite cold! Having a fire was a real treat. They left us a lovely welcome basket of goodies and we had great communication from beginning to end. We would love to come back sometime and look forward to welcoming Marc and Jacky to Hawaii later this year.

Cute and cozy cabin nestled into the woods. Secluded and felt like a true get-away! We appreciated all the communication with Marc and Jacky before our stay on specifics for the property. Being so close to all the popular hiking trails meant we were able to beat the crowds and enjoy some areas to ourselves! Thanks for a relaxing stay!

This was my first PLU experience, and I couldn’t have asked for better hosts than Jacky and Marc! They set up a FaceTime call to make sure I had all the info and welcomed me into the PLU community with open arms. They sent check-in details and recommendations ahead of time and were super accommodating when we needed to shift the trip by a day. I had some urgent work matters come up right before the trip and didn't make it in the end but my family had an amazing time! They loved the cabin and enjoyed many of Marc and Jacky's recommendations like Picture Lake, the Chain Links Trail to Iceberg Lake, and Nooksack Falls. Thanks for making their trip so special!

This is an ideal ski cabin or summer hiking cabin! It’s nestled into the rainforest. The hot tub is very private and if you’re not from the PNW, the forest will be a real treat! My boys found fairy doors! It’s a 20 min drive to the ski hill which is laid back ski hill with minimal to no lines. Lots of expert terrain especially if you go slack country or back country. We even did a day trip to Seattle from the cabin! The cabin was super clean and comfy. Perfect for families. Highly recommended!!!

Jacky and Marc’s cabin is perfectly placed for skiing or summer activities at Mt.Baker. The cabin is beautifully furnished with tons of natural light and yet cozy and very comfortable after a day in the snow. Great amenities particularly the hot tub set up and large deck. Wish we’d brought our dogs! Proximity to town (Glacier) super easy to get the best coffee and breakfast at Wake’n’Bakery and the Glacier ski shop and supermarkets. North Fork Brewery also recommended. I am hoping to do a summertime visit and make the most of trails, hiking, tennis and pickleball!!

Jacky was a wonderful host. Her communication was great. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! We had a lot of rain while we were there, but watching the forest, listening to the rain on the roof, and stoking the fire was a wonderful way to relax! It is definitely on our list of places to come back to next time we're in the area!

Adorable, cozy, and clean A-frame cabin located in the forests near Mt Baker, Washington. Jacky was very easy to work with and sent every detail we needed to know beforehand and was so accommodating when our travel party unexpectedly increased by 1 person and we were arriving after midnight. The area is stunning in everyway and not crowded (at least in the summertime), even on the 4th of July weekend. Summer hiking abounds, and I hear winter skiing here is top-notch. The hot tub was enjoyed by all of us since summer temperatures can still be quite chilly. 100% recommend Jacky's cabin and this "off-the-beaten path" area of the Pacific Northwest!
