Neighbourhood
We are in a quiet, residential neighborhood of Setagaya, Tokyo. We are just a few minutes from the beautiful Kinuta Park.
There is a convenience store (Family Mart) within a 5 minute walk. There is a large, full service grocery store within a 15 minute walk. There are lots of restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk.
Nearest airport
Haneda is significantly closer than Narita if you have the option to fly into Haneda.
Getting Around
We are a 30 minute walk from a few different train stations: Yoga, Futako-Tamagawa, Soshigaya-Okura, and Seijogakuen-Mae.
Futako-Tamagawa and Seijogakuen-Mae have express train options and these are the stations that our nearby bus stop connects to.
There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk where you can go to Futako-Tamagawa (Den-en-Toshi and Oimachi Lines) or Seijogakuen-mae (Odakyu Line) in about 15 minutes. Those buses run a few times an hour, depending on the time of day.
A taxi to/from the closest stations is approximately ¥2000 depending on time of day.
There are also a few bike and scooter rental stations in the neighborhood. You pick up a bike from one of the docks and then can drop it at a dock in a different location. Check out Hello Cycling.
