General Overview
*calendar is currently full* Welcome to our our home, a traditional historic adobe in the North Valley, where we can view the International Balloon Fiesta right at our front door. The main house has 2 bedrooms (one queen, one king) and 2 baths, and there is another queen bed and bathroom in the separate guest house. Guest house has its own wifi. Enjoy several outdoor seating areas, 3 patios, pool and outdoor hot tub, lush gardens in a private and peaceful setting.We live in Los Ranchos, a village in the north valley of Albuquerque. Hiking, biking, skiing, river rafting very close by. Only 7 miles to old town, museums, shopping, and downtown. 20 minutes to the Sandia Mountains. 45 minutes to the heart of Santa Fe. Taos is an easy day trip.
Several Native American Pueblos nearby and many more are day trips. Sandia, San Felipe, Santo Domingo, Cochiti, Taos is north of Santa Fe. To the northwest are Zia, Santa Ana, and Jemez Pueblos. West of Albuquerque are Acoma, Laguna, and Zuni.
The Space
The house is single level with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen with an outdoor patio.
A garden path leads to guest house with another queen bed and bath, and patio. Pool (summer), hot tub, two fish ponds on the property. Entire compound is fenced.
Guest Access
Not great for mobility issues unfortunately, due to historic property with uneven brick floors, narrow doorways and several low steps around the property. two driveways are loose gravel.
Notes
Two bikes available for guest use.
We have one small, very friendly, 5 lb dog who travels with us when possible.

Neighbourhood
Peaceful atmosphere with big cottonwood trees, agricultural canals great for walking and biking. Restaurants, pharmacy, and shops within walking distance in the village. Only 7 miles to old town, museums, shopping, and downtown.
Getting to my home
Public transport is limited, so a car is needed to get around. We are happy to give directions and assistance on getting around.
