Neighbourhood

We live in a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital called Sarriguren. The eco-city of Sarriguren is conceived as a pilot operation of bioclimatic architecture and urban planning. In the year 2000 the project was classified as "Good Practice" by the Center for Human Settlements of the United Nations. In 2008, the eco-city of Sarriguren obtained the European Urbanism Award in the Environment/Sustainability category. It is a biannual award that recognizes the best projects carried out within the countries of the European Union, being the highest official award in terms of cities in this area. It is a very safe neighborhood in which green areas and spaces for enjoyment predominate , with numerous children's areas, a pump track for bikes and scooters, a lake with ducks to walk quietly, but which at the same time has the services of a city such as a medical center, banks, supermarkets, leisure areas and restaurants. It is connected to the center of Pamplona by an urban bus that runs every ten minutes, and leaves you in the center of the city in five minutes.

You can walk to large supermarket chains such as Lidl, Mercadona, Dia, Aldi, as well as restaurant chains such as McDonalds, BurguerKing, La Tagliatella, PizzaHut, Telepizza, Pîzza Buona, and pleasant neighborhood bars on the commercial avenue.
