We have a 1950s house in a tree lined street 15 minutes walk from Coogee Beach close to University of NSW, in Sydney's beautiful eastern suburbs. The house has two living areas and a sunny and private back yard, the tranquil surroundings are home to a variety of native birds such as kookaburras, cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets. We have retained many original 1950s features of the house, we love the retro style but we have a new stove, fridge and dishwasher. 10 minutes drive to Bondi Beach, 20 minutes drive or bus or light rail to the city of Sydney.
We are close to Randwick shops and Coogee Beach. We are close to everything that Sydney has to offer, in a quiet, community-minded, residential neighbourhood. Randwick has a local cinema, diverse restaurants, supermarkets and a high street. It is also a transport hub.
The space
Our colourful house has a separate kitchen, bathroom, separate laundry, and the living room which has a Smart TV with netflix access. The master bedroom has a queen bed, we have a fast internet connection, while another living room/music room has a double sofa bed. The second bedroom has a double bunk. the small third bedroom has a single bed. The living room has a dining table that seats 8. We have a sunny back garden with barbeque.
Guest access
Three stairs to the front door, otherwise no stairs. We care about the environment and do our best to use solar energy and recycle garbage and food waste, leaving a small footprint
Notes
Roomy stylish but classic family beach house with room for 7 people (but only 1 bathroom) The garden is great for kids, dining al fresco a delight all year round. We are 15 minutes easy walk from Coogee Beach..

Neighbourhood
Coogee Beach (10 minutes walk) is a beautiful beach with calm surf and is family-friendly. As we live close to the beach, we will leave you Beach towels and sunscreen so you do not have to carry yours. You can swim from November until April. You can swim all year around if you don't mind cold water. Also there are surfing courses available.
The Coogee promenade area has restored historic buildings and spacious parks. Stylish restaurants compete with fish and chip shops and cafes. Coogee is the ideal spot to begin the coastal walk to Bondi along a clearly marked pathway with stunning ocean views. This is described by Lonely Planet as the top free thing to do in Sydney.
Getting around
The bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk away. Randwick is 6 kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district.
