Thank you Kit for a perfect ending to our summer of travel with our family. Penang is a fabulous place to visit and your home made us feel very lucky to be staying somewhere so special and beautiful. The amenities were amazing and to have everything on your doorstep made life so easy and wonderful. Thank you for all the advice also to explore the local area, a lot of thought had gone into the communication and expertise to make our stay comfortable.

We loved Kit's home in Penang. It is a beautiful large apartment with 3 bathrooms and a terrace and view to die for over the water. The location was great as it was above a shopping mall which was very convenient for restaurants etc. My kids absolutely loved hiring electric scooters and driving around the foreshore in the evenings. Plus playing the Catcha machines. It was around 30 minutes to Georgetown, depending on traffic, and a similar time to Escape theme park which they also loved (home of the world's longest waterslide). There were a couple of small issues with the apartment and Kit was super responsive and resolved them. He gave us really helpful information about the property and local area, and was the best of PLU and everything home exchange embodies. I would highly recommend this exchange. We made great memories in Penang!

We feel very lucky to have been guests in Kit and Sik's home. Everything was well organised and pristine for our arrival in their wonderful spacious home with its huge terrace. We felt truly welcomed by their thoughtful touches and communications. Penang Island is an interesting vibrant destination to visit and easy to get around by cheap bus and taxi. There is something for everyone, from the rainforest, national park, beaches, shopping, food and buzzing George Town. A very memorable home exchange in this beautiful complex with swimming pools, shops, restaurants and water views. We loved our stay here!

Well - what a wonderful two weeks we had at Kit and Sik Ling’s comfortable home at upmarket Straits Quay. We were quite spoiled with the location, being so close (walkable) to many great restaurants and coffee shops. The area is extremely vibrant, yet upstairs in the apartment it is peaceful and relaxing. We loved the little video that Sik Ling made showing us how to access the apartment. The whole process was so easy with Kit arranging a taxi from the airport and giving the driver a package for us in order to gain entry. Kit was terrific with his communication from the start, making us feel very welcome. He sent many recommendations of eateries and places to visit. We just hopped in a Grab taxi when we wanted to explore further afield. We certainly managed to get out and about and enjoyed our stay in Penang very much. We also made full use of the gym and swimming pools in the complex. Hopefully Ki and Sik Ling will visit us in Hervey Bay, Queensland in the not too distant future and we can repay their hospitality. Thank you again.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for about ten days and for a globe. The outdoor terrace had a fantastic view and we spent nice time there in the morning and evening. The communication with the host was great from the start and until the end. Kit Lai had prepared everything very well and welcomed us with drinks and snacks. We warmly recommend everyone that has the possibility to exchange with Kit Lai!

We spent 2 weeks in Kit's incredible home. Penang is amazing. Kit made it even more special by providing excellent responses to questions and even being pro-active with terrific information. We loved the complex the home is in. The coffee shops, the grocery store, restaurants, the mall. Everything is there. Kit's home is clean, comfortable, well equipped. Kit's communications and helpful guidance made the home and it's amenities even better. Malaysia weather is hotter than we Canadians are used to but the AC brought great comfort. The pool is nothing short of magnificent to cool off in! We did every day. A most memorable home exchange. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay in Kit and Sik’s beautiful home, overlooking the spectacular views of the sea, lighthouse and Straights Quays. We loved the pools too as they were much larger than ours in Queensland! We enjoyed many evenings eating in the restaurants, singing and laughing at the little kids' cars as they race by! We also had afternoon tea at the E and O in Georgetown. The very friendly taxi drivers took us all over the place! We went to the lovely top of Penang Hill, Kek Kok Si, Batu Feringhi, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Cheong Fatz Tze, and the afternoon tea at Eastern & Oriental .... as well as many, many other locations. So thanks for making this trip the absolute best! Bee and Derek

I spent four weeks (August 2023) in Kit's magnificent apartment in Penang in Malaysia. Malaysia is great, Penang is amazing but Kit's place beats everything; it is way beyond the level of luxury and comfort I usually experience as a home-swapper. It's like staying in a five-star hotel but with a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a ridiculously huge terrace with a breathtaking sea view, ...oh and did I mention the choice of private swimming pools in the complex? Shops, bars and restaurants literally at your doorstep. In addition, as a bonus, Kit and Sik Ling are incredibly friendly, very helpful and accommodating; communication is easy, fast and fun. When we arrived to Penang, Kit and Sik Ling were there to help us settle in their place. They showed us around the town and took us to early lunch which was awesome to see how things function in Penang. They also helped us by taking us to the local market so we could taste the wonderful Penang cuisine. Kit loves a good single malt whisky, and Zoran actually is a whisky enthusiast, so the of them did a little whisky tasting session when we arrived. The apartment is beautiful and quite big - it is overlooking the marina and you can enjoy beautiful sunrises from its spacious terrace. It is in a building that is literally a shopping mall so you have anything you need very close to the apartment. The building also provides a small gym, several pools and a tennis court. The pool area is especially beautiful. We had a little accident in the apartment where the leg of one bed got broken. We offered to replace it but they graciously refused to accept our help with it. We will always cherish this exchange as one of our favourite ones. Thank you Kit and Sik Ling!
