Neighbourhood

We live in a lovely neighborhood with mostly apartments and family homes, which is directly off the famous Melrose Avenue and Fairfax Avenue. A short walk or drive to the Grove shopping center and the Beverly center. Melrose avenue and West Hollywood boast tons of cool restaurants and stores that are within a 5 minute walk. We live in West Hollywood where you can find a LOT to do, plenty of bars, restaurants, parks. For example, check out the famous Canters restaurant, Laurel Hardware, Ysabel, EP&LP, Catch and more. Close to the famous LGBTQ party district on Santa Monica Blvd. The well known melrose flea market is directly behind the apartment on Sundays. Whole foods, Trader Joes, Ralphs less than 5 mins away, and a jewish deli directly behind our apartment. Sunset Blvd is less than a mile away, so you can check out the sites and amazing bars/restaurants there too. It is around a 10 min drive to central 'tourist' Hollywood itself (Walk of fame and so on). The beach (Santa Monica or Venice beach) without traffic is around 30 min drive. Walk of Fame / Hollywood Sign / Runyon Canyon hiking trail around a 10 minute drive. Close to many restaurants, shopping centers (indoor and outdoor), bars.

Getting Around

Everything is pretty close and walkable in our area. There are hundreds of uber/lyft drivers around as well (and it is cheap as we are so central) or you can take the bus/rent a car. If you want to go to the beach you will need to uber or drive!

Looking to travel around Europe working remotely! I am a 30 year old actor/writer on a Peacock show. Originally from Washington DC. And I’ve been living in LA for 9 years, and in this apartment for 5 years. We LOVE the area we are in. We live in the heart of West Hollywood and Beverly Grove in a cute 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. We've really made the place our own, with lots of plants and art, a big sofa (fits 6 or 7 seated), cosy balcony, queen bed and more. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance. We live directly off the famous Melrose Avenue and Fairfax Avenue, a short walk or drive to the Grove shopping center and the Beverly center. 30 minutes to the beach and 20 minutes to the east side (Silverlake, Los Feliz etc!)
