Neighbourhood
Beyond the natural beauty that drew us to the area guests will love this quiet and safe beach town. Our home is walking distance from the beach and river, local restaurants and shopping. A very short bike or car ride will bring you to a grocery store. Enjoy the roof top restaurant/bar at City Market at sunset for views of both the river and the ocean. We have beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrella as well as bikes. There are several parks within walking distance.
Located on the Space Coast of Florida our home is located 22 miles south of Port Canaveral, 30 miles south of the Kennedy Space Center and 67 miles from Walt Disney World in Orlando making the location ideal for those who want to explore beyond the beaches.
Nearest airport
Travel Info:
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is less than an hours drive and is the airport we use most frequently. There is a smaller international airport (MLB) about 5 miles away in Melbourne, FL that is very easy to use due to its small size and sometimes has good flight prices. For international travelers, MIA and FLL tend to have cheaper flights. Both are about 3.5 hours away.
Getting Around
Specialty market within 2 blocks for groceries. Larger grocery store under a mile away. Many restaurants within walking distance. A car isn't necessary, but useful to see more of the area.
