Neighbourhood
The Lake District is a stunning part of the UK. There are many Lakes and rivers. Many Mountains and hills to climb. The highest mountain in the UK, Scafell Pike is close by and Beacon Tarn is behind our home, with many walks.
Many famous people have lived in the area, Beatrix Potter, William Wordsworth .
Close by is The Aquarium of the Lakes, steam railways, World of Beatrix Potter, Animal Park.
Lots of good places to eat. Lakeland delicacies include Grasmere gingerbread, Cumberland Sausage, Kendal mint cake, sticky toffee pudding.
Lots of fine micro brewerys for real ale lovers.

We both took early retirement and have a rental property business.
We enjoy walking, visiting new places, being outdoors, spending time with family. Animal lovers.
We have a Daughter Katie and partner Tom and our wonderful Granddaughter Grace, who is 4.
Our Son Laurence is studying his Masters at Newcastle Uni.
