General overview
Light-flooded bungalow on the edge of the forest in Schmitten (30 min away from Frankfurt) ** incl. fireplace & sauna**
The space
Schmitten is a small village in the Taunus Forest. The Taunus is a low mountain range (highest elevation 879 m above sea level) and the abundance of forests make the Taunus a popular destination for excursions in the Rhine-Main region.
We have furnished our vacation home with great attention to detail. The perfect place to relax and to get back to nature!
Up to 6 persons can be comfortably accommodated on 2 levels (first floor and basement with daylight). On approx. 100 sqm living space there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 very large living room with additional sleeping possibility and fireplace, adjacent kitchen and dining place for 8 persons. All rooms are covered with parquet, wooden floorboards or tiles.
The living room with adjoining kitchen and dining table is very comfortable and furnished with love to the detail. Highlights are the fireplace and the huge panoramic window with direct view into the forest.
Because of the closeness to nature we have renounced a television. From the living room there is direct access to the 100 sqm large terrace. The kitchen is well equipped: dishwasher, induction stove and oven, refrigerator, espresso machine incl. milk foamer, kettle, sodastream, toaster and all necessary cooking utensils are available.
The sauna, which is located in the basement and is designed for 4 persons, is another highlight of the bungalow.
