General Overview
Located in PUERTO AVENTURAS the safest most prestigious gated community in the beautiful Mayan Riviera. The condo is in
VILLA DEL MAR 1 oriented with beautiful views. The balcony looks out to the pool and beach. The open living room, dining room and kitchen areas all have pool views. The large master bedroom offers large closet/dressing areas full ensuite bathroom and beach/pool views. The guest bedroom has two queen size beds and full bathroom. This condo is spacious and is equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable!
The landscaped grounds feature two very large pools, tennis courts and about one acre of private lawn. The private beach has lounge chairs and shade providing 'Palapas'. Beach service (food and beverages) can be obtained from the PA Beach Club Hotel servers, with a beach 'Cabana' bar located just next door.
Adding to the appeal of this location is your proximity to the many services and attractions Puerto Aventuras has to offer. In less than five minutes you can be teeing up to play golf, climbing into a dive boat, heading off to catch a sailfish, swimming with the dolphins, shopping or dining at one of the many outdoor restaurants.
For those who want a little more adventure, the Mayan ruins of Tulum, horseback riding, ATV Jungle Ride and Ziplining and other area attractions are only minutes away. This is a truly idyllic location that offers something for everyone!
Because our home also rents, we can only accommodate short (7 day) exchanges.

Getting Around
Puerto Aventuras is a 60 minute drive from Cancun International Airport. Playa Del Carmen is 20 minutes to the north and Tulum is 30 minutes to the south.
Everything you need for your stay can be found within the gates of Puerto Aventuras. A large Grocery store is within a 5 minute drive outside the gates.
Our condo also includes 3 bikes for you convenience.

Where to begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Penny's place? The apartment is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The views from the terrace are a dream! What a treat to have breakfast there! The urbanization has very complete facilities, as you can see in the photos. But my surprise was the beach of the urbanization, incredible! It has some barriers that make it like a warm pool in which it does not cover (paradise for children)! But the best thing is that near those barriers it is full of thousands of fish such as parrot fish, box fish, manta rays, clown fish ...a show! I spent hours and hours snorkeling there. As if that were not enough, in the garden we had raccoons, coatis, iguanas... a delight! We were a week and nothing came to me!! Puerto Aventuras is 40 minutes from Tulum and 25 from Playa del Carmen. Perfect base in Riviera Maya and very very safe. To enter the apartment you have to give credentials 2 times! Do not hesitate, if you can, come to Penny's apartment, lovely! -
We had a lovely one week stay at Penny's beautiful condo in Puerto Adventuras. We felt very lucky to be able to enjoy such a peaceful & spacious place through PLU - our first guest experience. The condo was exactly as described. Penny was good at communicating despite time differences & her own travel plans. Her property manager was also available for any other queries. The beds were extremely comfortable & the balcony is a lovely big space with a wonderful outlook. Restaurants are a 5 min stroll out of the secure gated complex. We mainly relaxed on the small beach, we were lucky to have crystal waters (no seaweed at this time), & perfect temperature in both the sea & the pool. We made one excursion to a nearby Cenote where we swam in the caves. There are a lot more days out that you could do if you wished. Thank you Penny for a great Globe exchange. -
We had a wonderful globe exchange to Puerto Adventura in the Playacar region of Mexico. Penny was helpful and kind in providing advice related to car rentals and anything else we were curious about. Her place is just as the pictures show - great view of the pool and the ocean. The breezes that blew through the home kept us cool and refreshed. We used the AC in the bedroom only at night to sleep. It was all very comfortable, clean and such a great get away. Easy drive to Playa del Carmen to take the ferry to Cozumel. We also did an easy day trip to Tulum. We appreciated spending a globe here and would recommend an exchange with Penny any time. Check the temperatures and seaweed projections for your time of year as it can be a significant consideration. We had a great time even with both of those being high. Thank you Penny.
