Neighbourhood
Our place is located in a very private setting about 25 minutes from Tallinn Old Town. It is situated in a quiet little village, but it's in the end of a street with just one neighbor. So really peaceful with wild life just at your doorstep.
The nearest shops are 5 minute drive away in Tabasalu. There are some nice restaurants, too.
Just 10-12 minute drive away is Rocca al Mare with it's numerous shops and restaurants, a mall, ice rank, tennis court, fitness clubs and the incredible Open Air Museum and Tallinn Zoo.
The famous medieval Tallinn Old Town is just a short drive away. Summer is the best time to visit if you ask an Estonian. In June it gets dark for just a few hours at night, so it's pretty magical. Lots of cultural events, festivals and concerts to enjoy outdoors. Many visitor are fascinated by winter in Tallinn as well. It's a magical season. Powdery snow on the rooftops of the medieval buildings in the Old Town cobbled narrow streets, and Europe's best Christmas Market make Tallinn an awesome place to visit in the winter time, too.

Getting around
Although there is public transport nearby, we still recommend having a car for your own convenience. Public transport isn't very frequent from the closest bus stop.
There are Uber/Bolt rides available and it costs about 15 Euros to get to Tallinn city center.
Every part of Estonia can be reached in about 3 hours from our house, so having a car gives you the possibility to explore other areas as well.
