Our home is a newer home in a housing development in Nampa, ID. We are 20 miles from downtown Boise. If you love the outdoors- this is the place for you. Hiking & biking, floating & boating, we’ve got it. Love sporting events and concerts? We have multiple college sporting teams within a 20 mile radius. Skiing your thing? Check out Bogus Basin. Do you like shopping and eating out? We’ve got it all.
The space
Our house is in a housing development with sidewalks for walking. There is a small playground and pickleball court in the neighborhood as well as a large new playground and pickleball court 1/2 mile down the road.
The home is 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has a brand new King sized bed and a large soaking tub in the master bathroom with a separate shower. The other two bedrooms have queen sized beds. One bed also has a twin trundle with a sleeping mat (better for smaller people). We do have a queen sized air mattress for additional
Guests.
The home is single story with hardwood floors throughout- minus the master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms.
Guest access
Single story with a small step up to the front door and a small step out to the backyard.
Notes
We have one small dog so if allergies are an issue he does leave his hair on couches, but doesn’t go on beds or other furniture. We added a kitty to our family 11/24 but he is only allowed in our son’s bedroom.

My husband and myself mostly. We might also travel with our 2 adult sons and one of their wives. We would like to bring our small dog if we are driving to an exchange and if that’s agreed upon- but we can always make other arrangements.

We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. Welcome to our home! You will be assigned your own keyless entry code for your stay. We do have a ring camera at the front door.
Welcome to our home.
Enjoy making meals in this well laid out kitchen with all the kitchen gadgets and small appliances you may need.
We don’t drink alcohol but we have a well stocked Coffee/tea bar.
Dining room table has seating for 6 but have additional fold up tables & chairs if needed. Plus our outside patio table has seating for 6-8.
This oversized cushiony couch is the perfect place to snuggle up by the fireplace or to watch a movie together- but there is also a recliner for those who just want to sit back and relax. (our dog does sit on the couch but we try really hard to make sure he is on blankets to keep the couch from getting covered in hair- the giant ottoman is his main seating space and usually covered in blankets).
Brand new large capacity washer & dryer for your use.
Queen sized bed (new 12/23) with a full size trundle mat underneath. We also have a queen sized air mattress that will fit nicely in this
Room. ***This is the only room the kitten is allowed ***
Bedroom with glass French doors. We have blackout curtains on the doors for privacy and the bed is queen sized.
Guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
King sized master bedroom (mattress new 12/23). A dresser with empty drawers for your use.
Master bathroom with His & Her sinks, a soaking tub with a separate shower . We even made room in the master closet for your clothes. A dresser in the bedroom is available for you to use a few drawers while you stay here.
Soaking tub to help you unwind after a day of exploring.
Backyard space is completely fenced so feel free to let the kids out to run around. Or gather for a backyard cookout on our Blackstone Griddle.
Small area to sit and roast s’mores on the fire pit.
Enjoy a cup of coffee in the backyard.
Lots of games and puzzles for you to enjoy.
Small neighbor park a few blocks away (in our neighborhood).
Bike, jog or walk along the Boise Greenbelt with various starting points. The entire greenbelt is 25 miles long)
We just added a kitty to our family 11/24- his name is Mojo. He is only allowed in one bedroom- he is not allowed anywhere else in our home.
Meet Bean- he is our 9 year old Chihuahua-corgi mixed dog. He’s only allowed on blankets when on the couch. The big ottoman belongs to him, but he’s not allowed on any beds.
