House near the center Aalter, quiet and green

The Space

Location. Our house is located in the green part of the city Aalter, on quite a large lot, with horses in the backyard. This city is situated between Genth and Brussel, in the north of Belgium. On the pictures you see a little forest (2 acres) we created in 1996 in the backyard, it has a BBQ in the middle. There is a lot of parking space before our house. It is a very quite and green environment. Detail We must know if you bring an animal before we approve the exchange. Transportation You can use our car if we exchange yours. There is a very good and fast connection by train (Ghent/Bruges 12 m/Brussels 55m/Airport 1h10m). Leaving Brussels Airport to our house is less then 1h30, since the direct train leaves from the airport (level -1) The station is in centre of the village and has a large free parking only 4 miles from our home.Beautiful nature is nearby but there are also a lot of things to do , a lot of shops and several restaurants. Restaurant 't Vijfde Seizoen has a Michelin Star (https://www.tvijfdeseizoen.com/intro) is the centre of our village. There is a caste on walking distance , with french gardens, please see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmBEr9O0VDc There are 3 horses in the prairy in the back, you can enjoy them, but don't have to care for them. There is a little forest, 2 acres, to relax in, attached at the backyard. There are 2 bikes, the ways are very flat, so discovering the environment by bike is possible. (At the station there is a Blue Bike point in case you need more bikes)
