Our house from 1914 is located in an even older street, a five-minute walk from the beautiful and historic city center of Amersfoort. Our house is modern and attractively furnished with original details.

Located on the edge of the 'Utrechtse Heuvelrug', the areas around Amersfoort are very diverse. From heath and dune landscapes to wooded and polder landscapes. Everything is very, VERY bikeable. Whether you want to cycle with a city bike, mountain bike, gravel bike or road bike. 

Within a 15-minute walk you can reach Amersfoort Central Station where trains depart in all directions, an average of 4 trains per hour in each direction. Utrecht is 11 minutes, Amsterdam 30 to 35 minutes. Zwolle and Deventer in the north and east are 40 minutes by train.

We have exchanged simultaneously several times to our full satisfaction within the Netherlands via a Facebook platform. Through Peoplelikeus we would like to continue to do this and also add opportunities abroad to our travel options!

The Space

The 44 meter long and green garden is our unique feature that you never expect when you stand in front of the house. A large and modern kitchen and dining room offer everything you could wish for. The bathroom is spacious with a bath and a separate (rain) shower. 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds).

At the back of the garden, a small gazebo offers an extra bed (140 cm) with shower and toilet and a place to relax, play or listen to music, or you can work remotely if needed. 

Our bikes are at your disposal if we do not take them with us on our own vacation.

Our house is in an area where parking is regulated. We do not have a permit ourselves, so parking is recommended in a nearby parking garage.

Neighbourhood

Densely populated with singlefamilies with a wide variety of people. Very close to Amersfoort train station and the old city center. As well as a 10-minute bike ride to nature (Utrechtse Heuvelrug and estate 'Den Treek'). Go canoeing, mountain biking, walk through park Randenbroek and to the city center for a drink or a cruise on the canals.

Getting to my home

Amersfoort is located in the middle of the Netherlands and is perfectly accessible. By car from all directions, by train (direct from Germany and Schiphol Airport) and by bike of course.

Schiphol Airport is 45 minutes away by direct train.

Getting Around

Most sights and facilities can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Amersfoort Central train station as well. To get out of the city and into nature, grab a bike and be there within 10 minutes.
