Neighbourhood
The biggest plus of our place, we think, is the wonderful neighborhood where everyone says hello and you can easily meet people and chat with neighbors. You will see people walking their dogs and taking strolls outside all day and evening long.
This is a very walkable area, and we are close to several trails. We have a Little Free Library on our front lawn which gets lots of visitors because of all our foot traffic. Our street's Halloween celebration is legendary: the street is shut down to cars and becomes a lively street party for kids and adults alike.
It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Walnut Creek which is full of shopping, dining, a great public library, and other amenities.
Nearest airport
Oakland Airport is about half-hour away, SFO is about 50 minutes by car (depends on traffic). Both are accessible by BART.
Getting Around
While our neighborhood is very walkable and is close to nice trails, it's best to have a car here if you want to explore.
