General overview
We built our home and raised our 4 children in this place. We love to host people from around the world as we love to travel with our children and grandchildren. My husband has been a general contractor for over 30 years in this county and I own a vintage rental company. We have decorated our home in a lodge style while adding tasteful updates as we go. I will be adding interior photos soon!
The space
The main house is 5 bedrooms plus bonus room, 4 bathrooms and a children's play room. The guest house is an open floor plan with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, as it sleeps 8 in bunks. There is also a bathroom on the garage. We have a custom pool with waterfalls and waterslide that our grandchildren love to enjoy! We are set on a private lake with boats and fishing accessisble for guests. The back of our property is on the bike trail where a stroll to Historic Main Street Placerville is a must. It has a wrap around porch and lovely sunset views over the sprawling lawn and lake. Our children got married here, as well as many of their friends, so we have kept it up as a wedding venue for the past 7 years. We are no longer using it for events as we plan to travel with our family.

Neighbourhood
Quiet neighborhood with 5 acre parcels at a minimum. You may see a friendly walker heading to the bike trail or a few cars on the private roads.
Getting around
5 minute drive to town. Historic Placerville (the first gold sighting in California) has been left in time as a Gold Rush era town. Very friendly locals and delicious restaurants. There are several farms and wineries in the area, so farm to fork dining is scattered throughout the county. We are 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe and it is a must see!

We are empty nesters who raised 4 children that are now dispersed across the US. We love to travel with our children and 4 grandchildren. My husband is a general contractor and I own a vintage rental company. We love to build and create beautiful spaces and restore old pieces together. My husband built our home in 1999, and we have since used it share with others.
