General Overview

Quiet garden setting in the center of Toronto, a 5 min walk to metro/subway, grocery, banks , churches and restaurants -everything! Our ground floor apartment has a large deck in a big yard facing lush trees, a ravine and the historic Mt.Pleasant cemetery. We have seen deer, foxes, raccoons and small wildlife in our backyard, truly amazing in the middle of the city. Our home is a perfect central location for visiting Toronto, you won't need a car (but we have parking). Toronto is a great starting point to explore eastern Canada and the US. It is home to Caribana, the largest Pride Parade in the world, The International Beaches Jazz Festival - and we just hosted the PanAm Games. Close by is home to the Canadian Lake/Cottage Experience in Muskoka and the Kawarthas. Prince Edward County is about 2 hours east. New York and Chicago are about 9 hours by car, Montreal 6.

The Space

Sunlight streams into large windows in each room and the spacious dining/living area is excellent for unwinding after a day of sight seeing or just relaxing. Two bedrooms plus an office that could be used as a third bedroom. Large living/dining area with open kitchen. The building is 1950s but has been renovated and is in a very quiet in a safe central neighbourhood. We have updated several rooms, new pictures will follow.

1) Private entrance on ground floor 2) enter via lobby and take the elevator 3) enter through the underground parking garage.

Includes clothes washer and dryer, barbecue and deck. We love to cook, lots of equipment (Vitamix blender, Kitchen Aid mixer, pressure cooker, DeLonghi Espresso espresso etc.) for you to use or go out and take advantage of Toronto's incredibly vibrant international cuisine.

Neighbourhood

Safe, quiet high end residential neighbourhood just steps from a central transit intersection. Close to cycling trails and ravine hiking trails parks etc. Close to schools and all amenities. Several grocery stores, and some of the city's finest restaurants are just steps away.

Getting Around

Location. Location. Location! 5 minute walk to banks, grocery stores, bakery, florist, coffee shops etc. Streetcars and subway stop a 5 minute walk. You are truly in the center of the city!
