General overview
Since our marriage three years ago we live in this lovely renovated home in Rijnsburg. The place is 150 m2, spacious for a couple and can also easily accomodate a family. Enjoy the sun and flowers in our front and backyard.
The space
On the ground floor we have a generous living room with two sitting areas, one of them next to the fireplace. Next to the kitchen is a dining area from where you can open the sliding doors to the backyard.
The master bedroom is on the first floor, next to the bathroom with bath and shower seperately. You also find the office, balcony and another room, where we can make an extra bedroom if you like to.
On the attic you'll find another bedroom with a double bed. Next to the bedroom is a home gym with some weights and a spinning bike, but can also be used as an extra playroom.

You can use our bicycles which will get you to Katwijk beach in 20 minutes. You'll find plenty of other routes around.
- Rijnsburg is a small village. 500 meters from our house you'll find a shopping area with a supermarket and bakery. The historical centre starts 150 meters from our house. Nice for a small evening walk.
- Rijnsburg is 5 km from Katwijk, where you can find a nice beach and more extensive shopping opportunities.
- Leiden is 6 km from our place. Leiden has a nice city centre and historical buildings. It is the place where Rembrandt is born. Leiden also has a train station.
- The Hague is the capital of Zuid-Holland, where the government is settled. It is 20 km from Rijnsburg. If you are in a sporty mood you can get there by bike along the coast.
- Amsterdam is 40 km from Rijnsburg and 45 minutes by train.
Getting around
use our bike or rent one (also electrical and kids) 100 meters down the road.
